Join Our Team as an Airport Ramp Agent!

As an essential member of our airport team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operations of our airline services. We invite you to apply for the position of Airport Ramp Agent where you will be responsible for various tasks that keep our airport running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft with utmost care.
• Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from damage, loss, theft, and the elements.
• Lift, load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in a safe manner.
• Operate pushback equipment, and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers for safety during operations.
• Document and record customer baggage, airfreight, and mail as required.
• Transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, preparing necessary records.
• Operate various motorized equipment including belt loaders, air start units, and more.
• Complete paperwork related to work assignments and enter data into Company systems as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within your skill and experience level.

Qualifications:

• Local (in-state) residency is required.
• Valid In-State Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to undergo a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have work authorization in the United States as per the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority security ID.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items of 70 pounds or more regularly and 40 to 50 pounds frequently.
• Able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop often.
• Comfortable working in cramped or high spaces.
• Capable of carrying heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: One+ year of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Effective communication skills, both verbally and via radio equipment.
• Professional manner when communicating information and instructions.
