The Applications Engineer Intern will be trained on how to oversee the planning, design, and installation of machinery and equipment within an industrial facility.

Duties:

• Learn how to perform both onsite and offsite demonstrations of ATEQ instruments
• Prepare formal price and technical quotations
• Complete Technical Data Sheets for new instrument orders
• Perform customer feasibility studies
• Create technical data reports
• Set up instrumentation onsite and assist with run off activities
• Assist the sales team with setting up demonstrations
• Support customers onsite with application issues
• Will be trained on how to support the special projects team as required

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
• Proactive aptitude
• Ability to work alone as well as in a team setting

Education:

• Enrollment within a mechanical engineering, computer science or related degree program
• Currently enrolled within a Mechatronics program at University of TN, Chattanooga.
• Some level of experience within an Application Engineering environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at any given time.
