CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Management:

• Ability to function as a working lead within the line.
• Oversee and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and targets.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage and optimize production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards.

Team Leadership:

• Engage within the production team to exemplify RC Mowers values and culture
• Lead, motivate, and train production team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and offer support to team members.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.

Quality Control:

• Monitor product quality throughout the production process and ensure that products meet the required standards.
• Conduct spot investigations, audits, and regular inspections to identify and address quality issues.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and documentation

Safety:

• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety hazards promptly.
• Train and educate employees on safety procedures and best practices.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation.

• Collaborate with other departments to manage materials and resources effectively.

Problem Solving:

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to resolve problems.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to production activities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATATIONS

Experience:

Proven experience in manufacturing, production, or a related field.

Experience in leading and managing teams.

Preferred experience in production planning, scheduling, and control.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.

Proficiency in using production management software and systems.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to decipher a mechanical drawing and build from it.

Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to motivate and train others.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate or bachelors degree in a related field preferred.

Certifications:

Valid Drivers License

Obtain Forklift Certification (On-site)

Able to complete DOT (On-site) Training
