This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate seeking hands-on, in-house experience across a wide range of business and legal issues. You’ll work directly with the General Counsel and cross-functional business teams to ensure our agreements protect Roadrunner’s interests and align with company strategy.**Critical Job Functions:*** Review, draft, and revise commercial contracts, including customer, vendor, and service agreements.* Identify and communicate legal and business risks, providing practical recommendations.* Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and processes for consistency and efficiency.* Support internal stakeholders on compliance, corporate governance, and policy matters.* Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or memoranda as needed.* Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters.* Assist the General Counsel with special projects and legal department organization.**Job Requirements:*** Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.* Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. state.* 0–2 years of relevant experience (law firm or in-house).* Strong understanding of contract law and attention to detail.* Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.* Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.* Prior experience reviewing or drafting commercial agreements preferred.* Familiarity with LTL shipping, logistics, transportation, or B2B services preferred.* Experience using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams preferred.**Physical Demands and Work Environment:** The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
