Business Administrator Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This contract position involves managing essential billing and administrative tasks, supporting financial operations, and ensuring efficient office processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage billing processes, including invoice preparation, review, and timely submissions.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to create reports, track data, and maintain organized records.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Support human resources administration, including database management and project coordination.
  • Monitor financial forecasting, expense reporting, and bookkeeping activities to align with company objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and practices in all administrative operations.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing system upgrades and process improvements.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving billing-related concerns.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in billing, accounts payable, and financial administration.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong reporting and database skills.
    • Familiarity with Oracle systems and other financial software is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of office functions, procedures, and bookkeeping practices.
    • Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions independently.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
    • Experience with human resources administration and collection processes is a plus.
