**Description**
**Responsibilities**
* Participate in and contribute to ISMS steering committee and Security council
* Partner closely with Chief Compliance Officer, the Compliance Department, and the Privacy Office to ensure that eCW is in full compliance with all healthcare industry regulations and best practices
* Work closely with IT, Security Operations, Legal, Human Resources, Product Management, Product Development, Operations, and the Executive Leadership team to ensure that security initiatives are being executed effectively
* Ensuring eCWs operating environment is sound, sustainable, and compliant in regard to policies and requirements by auditing the current processes, procedures, and technologies
* Understand and interact with all related disciplines through different committees to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems, and services
* Contribute to shape the future of the Security organization structure and culture
* Participate in responses to security incidents and events to protect assets, including sensitive data and organizational reputation
**Requirements**
* Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred
* 10 years of cybersecurity experience
* 5 years of cybersecurity management experience
* 3 years of experience as a CISO
* 3 years of experience in applying and interpreting Government regulations related to Cybersecurity
* CISSP, CISM, CISA, SEC +, CISO, vCISO certification (at least one)
**Other Requirements**
* Experience with Cloud computing security best practices
* Ability to communicate with and present to senior leadership and regulatory bodies
* Security policy development experience
* Strategic management
* Incident response and management
* Knowledge of regulation and standards compliance. (NIST 800-53 series, ISO 27000 series, HIPAA, PCI DSS.
