Data Science Engineer - Machine Learning

Hourly Rate:

Depending on Experience (DOE)

Work Authorization:

Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, applied mathematics, or a related engineering discipline is essential.
4+ years building data-powered products.
Strong background in machine learning, statistics, and programming.
Proven track record of analyzing large-scale complex data sets, modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
Expertise in at least one high-level programming language like Java, Scala, C++, or Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas).
Expertise in at least one statistical modeling tool from R, Matlab, or Weka is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Drive data science projects from concept, development, and deployment to production.
2. Propose statistical or machine learning models/methodologies to solve problems.
3. Define accuracy measures and validation criteria for models.
4. Implement and evaluate proposed models/methodologies.
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
6. Collaborate with product managers to shape the ML product vision and design.
