Job Overview:

As a Device Repair Technician, you will play a key role in supporting customers by providing technical repair and diagnostic services for a variety of devices covered under a Device Insurance program. These devices may include Windows and Apple laptops, iPads, Kindles, and other tablets commonly used in educational settings.

You'll deliver efficient repairs, communicate clearly with customers, ensure devices are returned quickly and in full working condition, and perform other duties as assigned. If you're passionate about technology, skilled in troubleshooting, and ready to make a meaningful impact, this role is for you.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years
  • Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, or repairing consumer or educational technology products.
  • Familiarity with both Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as iOS, Android, and Fire tablet devices.
  • Comfortable working independently or within a small team to support multiple school sites or service locations.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a structured, fast-paced environment.
  • Use of technology to log repairs, update ticket

Experience Preferences:

  • Previous experience working in an educational or field service environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods of time while operating precision equipment.
  • Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to handle small parts, screws, and tools with precision

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Apple ACMT, other industry-recognized certifications
