Overview Join Our Team as a Disability Support Worker! At First Step Therapy Services (FSTS), we’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Your Role Includes Supporting the parents of children with intellectual, physical, and behavioral difficulties. Assisting and participating in activities that improve the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children. Preparing indoor and outdoor areas for learning or recreational activities. Helping children develop social skills through individual support. Providing basic physical care and wellbeing support, including toileting and meals. Assisting with transportation for activities. Communicating with children to support comprehension of basic tasks and information. What You Need to Join A person-centred approach and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Excellent communication skills and professionalism at all times. Experience and relevant qualifications in the disability field are preferred.
