Key Responsibilities of Disability Support Worker: Provide individualised support to pupils with a range of disabilities. Assist with mobility, personal care, communication, and independence skills. Support engagement in classroom activities and school routines. Follow personalised support plans and work closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals. Encourage confidence, participation, and emotional well-being. Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with staff and families. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a similar care/SEN role. A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to assist with personal care if required. Understanding of disability support, inclusive practice, and safeguarding.
