Job Description

• Implementing DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) across multiple domains to enhance email security. This project involves configuring DMARC policies to move all domains into enforcement, mitigating email spoofing and phishing attacks effectively.
• Full understanding of how to implement DMARC.
• Ability to troubleshoot DMARC issues by doing a forensic review of email headers.
• Strong ability to document and track current and future state of DMARC for the company.

• Understanding of Email Protocols: Knowledge of SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol), SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), and DMARC protocols is essential for implementing DMARC effectively. Strong troubleshooting around emails, their delivery, and rejection error messages.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with DNS (Domain Name System) configuration and management is necessary for setting up DMARC records. Additionally, understanding email authentication mechanisms and cryptographic principles is beneficial.
• Cybersecurity Awareness: A strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including email security best practices, phishing techniques, and threat intelligence, is crucial for designing robust DMARC policies.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze DMARC reports and interpret the data to identify sources of email abuse, spoofing attempts, and compliance issues.
