Bringing mom home from a memory care facility because the facility is no longer affordable. Mom was deemed one the easiest residents to care at the facility. She was/is also on the least amount of medications for her Alzheimer’s. She is mobile but not as quick and stable as she once was. Looking for someone to care for mom Monday - Friday, during the day, but hours may vary. Elder care to include bathing, fixing meals, administering medications, fun activities to keep her mind engaged, and simple exercises. Someone experienced in caring for elders with Alzheimer’s / dementia is needed. Must have patience and creativity. Also needs to be in decent shape (able to assist mom getting out of bed, up from a chair, into and out of a car, etc… if necessary). Occasional errands may need to be run or trips to the neighborhood park to get Mom out for fresh air, exercise, or a change of scenery.
