STS Technical Services is hiring an Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple custom projects, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient scheduling. This role requires daily micro-management of several projects, coordinating across departments, and proactively addressing workflow changes to prevent bottlenecks. Core Responsibilities Manage multiple projects according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules. Allocate resources based on workflow adjustments. Monitor and prevent bottlenecks in project flow. Track long lead-time items that may impact delivery. Follow up on incoming product and inventory for future projects. Conduct physical inspections of custom items for product use. Prepare weeks in advance by reviewing engineering drawings before projects go live. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Ability to build and analyze Pareto Charts. Experience in manufacturing or construction management. Knowledge of electrical wiring and installation. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. Project Management Certification. Time Breakdown 65% – Micro-checking schedule/production changes 15% – Resource management 10% – Checking future project items 5% – Setting up for the following day/week 2.5% – Sales, scheduling, and shipping interaction 2.5% – Micro meetings/daily huddles Programs Used Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook What We’re Looking For We need a detail-oriented team player who thrives in fast-paced, high-demand environments. Our team typically works 45 to 65 hours per week, and we need someone who fits into this dynamic and can make a positive impact.
