Job Title: Entry Level Software Engineer (09042025) Job Location: Moorestown NJ 08057 Onsite Requirements: Java and/or C++ Linux/Unix Agile development methodologies Job Description: Under direct supervision, helps design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze software programs for computer-based systems. Assists in evaluating/determining user needs with the maintenance of single-product models and subsystems. Performs routine systems modeling, simulation, and analysis. As required, provides inputs for documentation of new or existing programs. Primarily interfaces with intra-organizational staff with infrequent contact with inter-organizational staff and outside customers and vendors on routine matters. Supports maintenance and or new application development under supervision of technical leadership. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related engineering discipline 0-2 years' experience in software development or maintenance Software Engineering experience or familiarity with Java or C++ Familiar with Agile development methodologies Preferred Requirements: Familiar with Object Oriented design/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and plugins Familiar with Linux and UNIX development and test environments Familiar with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse or VSCode Familiar with UML syntax and its use in Model-based tools like Rapsody Familiar with Git version control system Familiar with issue tracking systems like JIRA or Trello Familiarity with any of the following: XUnit architecture testing fir unit testing like Google Test, jUnit, cppUnit Lite Tcl/Tk Ada Atlassian tool suite including Jira, BitBucket, and Confluence Data Distribution Service (DDS) DevSecOps and Automation tool experience like SonarQube and Jenkins **3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.
