Sr Estimator – Chicago and Indanapolis

Well-established Chicagoland and Indiana based GC's are seeking a skilled Sr Estimator to join their preconstruction team in their growing office while reporting into the Chief Estimator. These are great opportunities to contribute to a variety of large scale (up to $50m) commercial and institutional projects in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and subcontractor services
• Solicit and evaluate bids from trade partners
• Collaborate with project managers and business development teams
• Assist in developing competitive proposals and presentations

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and pricing
• Proficiency in estimating tools and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate clearly
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred

• Familiarity with the Chicago-area construction markets or Indanapolis based markets
• Experience across multiple sectors and large projects (e.g., education, healthcare, industrial)
• Professional certifications are a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary from $120K–$150K and up, depending on experience
• Annual performance bonus from 10%-20%
