BECOME AN EXTERIOR CLEAN LEAD! Our Exterior Clean Lead is responsible for leading a team of Exterior Wet Wash Cleaners, ensuring high-quality and efficient cleaning of aircraft exteriors. This position involves organizing and delegating cleaning tasks, training new team members, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures. The lead also conducts inspections to guarantee that cleaning standards are met and maintains records of cleaning schedules and activities.
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS AN EXTERIOR CLEAN LEAD - Inspect aircraft before and after exterior cleaning to ensure PrimeFlight quality standards are met
- Successfully lead staff and resources efficiently to handle multiple aircraft cleaning tasks
- Monitor the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain a schedule for regular cleaning and special cleaning requests from airlines
- Communicate effectively with ground crew, maintenance staff, and management
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for working at heights and around aircraft
- You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks
- Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS - 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
- Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Effectively communicate both in-person and through electronic means
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE: - Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable
- Must be able to push, pull
- Must be able to crawl, at times in confined tight spaces
- Must be able to bend, stretch, squat
- Must be able to work at elevated heights
- Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels
- Exposure to Biohazards and/or Chemicals
- Exposure to outdoor elements
- Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms
- Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
