We’re seeking committed and skilled Disability Support Workers to join our team in supporting a participant with complex needs, including justice system involvement, mental health complexities and a history of behaviours of concern. This is a specialist support role where your impact goes beyond day-to-day care — you’re part of a team creating predictable routines, safety, and opportunity for positive change. Key responsibilities include: Deliver high-quality community access support Build and maintain safe, trusting, and professional relationships within the context of risk-aware boundaries Implement BSPs and follow PBS strategies consistently Monitor and respond to behaviours of concern in a calm, non-escalating manner, and record incident data clearly Support the participant’s transition goals, independence, and reengagement with community Engage in ongoing training and reflective practice. About you We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of: Male Dinka language (highly preferred) Forensic disability support Trauma-informed care Risk management in community settings Positive Behaviour Support frameworks Professional boundaries and ethical decision-making Can stay calm under pressure, manage dynamic environments, and model predictability and respect.
