About the Opportunity
Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to join our elite team fueling locomotives. This night shift position offers consistent, full-time hours, weekly pay, and year-round stability — no weather or seasonal slowdowns.
You’ll be paid for a full 12-hour shift — including breaks, lunch, and dispatch wait time — providing income you can count on. If you're looking for a high-paying, local driving job where you're home daily and part of a mission-critical operation, this role is for you.

Night shift schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM with rotating midweek days off (alternating Tuesday/Wednesday, Wednesday/Thursday, and full Tuesday–Thursday off every third week
60-hour work weeks (every 3rd week is 48 hours)
Overtime pay after 40 hours
Job Duties
Operate as a mobile fueling station for the railroad, hauling and delivering fuel using a tractor-trailer tanker
Work on an on-call basis during your shift — paid for the full 12 hours regardless of the number of dispatches
What You Need to Bring
CDL Class A with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
Tractor-trailer driving experience (Hazmat hauling experience not required)
Ability to pass DOT and company background checks
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Strong communication and time-management skills

Physical Requirements
Able to consistently bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on and off elevated surfaces
May have to walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces
Able to climb in and out of a truck cab multiple times per shift and climb a ladder or steps 10 or more times per day
Able to drive and work outside in adverse weather conditions
Willing to work with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
