Summary of Position: Performs a variety of general laundry duties to provide quality and clean laundry services and routine manual housekeeping work, cleaning areas within CDP facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Laundry Aide duties on a regular schedule.

1. Uses only approved cleaning products in accordance with label instructions or instructions provided by supervisor.
2. Maintains the safety of patients, visitors, staff and others by keeping cleaning products in locked cart or cabinet when not in use.

1. Housekeeping Aide duties

1. Empties trash.
2. Cleans, mops, scrubs, sweeps, or vacuums floors.
3. Cleans, washes, dusts, or polishes hardware, furniture, mirrors, bedside lighting fixtures, vents, radiators, and exteriors of cabinets and equipment.
4. Cleans patient rooms and/or offices thoroughly by mopping floors, washing furniture, scrubbing plastic cushions, frames and cleaning and washing bathroom fixtures and walls.
5. Follows all universal precautions, blood borne pathogen procedures and uses personal protective equipment as needed while cleaning patient care areas.

   4. Complies with all CDP and departmental programs, policies and procedures (i.e. administrative, HR, financial, clinical, quality, and safety policies and procedures).
   5. Ensures and protects the confidentiality of sensitive information.
   6. Complies with all federal, state, and local standards and laws regulating the provision of professional services (licensure and scope of practice).
   7. Attends any mandatory training(s) or meeting(s) as required on a consistent regular basis.
