Job Title: IT Sourcing Specialist IV

Duration: 12 months with potential extension

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Overview:

Lead and manage TIS category strategies to optimize procurement, mitigate risk, and deliver value across software, hardware, and IT services. Oversee supplier relationships, sourcing initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to support enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement TIS category strategies, leveraging market intelligence, demand management, and total cost of ownership.
• Execute sourcing strategies from RFP to contract negotiation and ensure effective contract utilization.
• Manage internal stakeholders to influence strategy, forecast demand, and advocate contract use.
• Maintain supplier relationships, drive performance improvements, cost reductions, and innovation.
• Support IT integration during M&A, ensuring data accuracy and business continuity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in TIS sourcing (software, hardware, services) with large-scale negotiation experience.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Experience managing supplier performance and relationships.

Preferred:

• Postgraduate degree or MBA
• SCMP/CPSM designation
