Main Line Fertility is seeking an experienced
Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time position on our team of professional cliniciansThe ideal candidate will educate, treat, inform and prepare patients for their appointment. Candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships, working well on a collaborative team and delivering the very best in compassionate, patient care.
Hours: 7:00AM - 3:30pm or 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30 pm, weekend and holiday rotation will be required. This position is based in Bryn Mawr and may require occasional travel to our other clinics in: Havertown, Reading, West Chester, Wyomissing, and Fort Washington. Reliable transportation is a must for this position.
Responsibilities include: - Assist physicians with patient care during exams, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare patients for exams/treatments, including taking medical history, vital signs, and performing phlebotomy
- Set up, clean, and restock exam and treatment rooms to maintain readiness
- Sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and contacting patients
- Document patient interactions accurately and maintain electronic medical records in compliance with regulations and clinic policies
Skills & Requirements: - Completion of Medical Assisting program with a Medical Assistant Certification OR a Patient Care Tech Certification is required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy experience required - certification preferred
- 2 years of healthcare experience required
- Proficiency in keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical records
- Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA requirements
