Department: Device Clinic - HCOR

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $21.49 - $27.94 / hour, based on relevant experience

Overview:

Join our team as a Medical Assistant in the Device Clinic, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Device Registered Nurses (RNs) and Device Technicians. In this administrative position, you will manage in-basket communications, process forms, and obtain implant-related medical records from equipment manufacturers and external facilities, ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient care activities under the guidance of providers or nurses.
• Perform basic clinical tasks and specimen collection, monitor patient conditions, and document care accurately.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies, including reordering and troubleshooting as needed.
• Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, data entry, filing, and patient registration.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgement in a fast-paced environment, performing actions independently.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CMA/RMA certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• No prior experience necessary.
• BLS certification must be in hand before your start date, valid for at least sixty days from your hire date.
