Overview

You may work across TJX brands and locations, including TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Homesense, Sierra, Winners, and TK Maxx, in offices, distribution centers, or stores.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
• Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to customers according to procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow established procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery; maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support shrink reduction goals and safety programs; participate in safety awareness.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes.
• Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Works effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The position has a starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour, with actual pay determined by skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include associate discount, EAP, smoking cessation, bereavement, 401(k) contributions, and additional programs depending on service/hours requirements and plan terms.
