Title: Microsoft Computer Technician Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 ($25/hr - $30/hr) Work Type: Short-Term Contract Location: Chicago, IL (near Grand and Ashland intersection) Environment: In Office Hours: 8am - 4pm Microsoft Computer Technician Job Responsibilities Prepare and Upgrade 35 devices for move to Windows 11 Replace RAM on laptops to ensure they have the capability of running Windows 11 Clean up laptops and ensure only company approved applications are installed Backup information on laptops and transport information to updated hardware Clear computer caches, ensure all devices are on the same OS, conduct antivirus checks, etc Conduct password resets and ensure they meet company requirements Microsoft Computer Technician Required Skills/Abilities Strong experience working with Microsoft Windows devices Previous experience migrating equipment to Windows 11 Knowledgeable of RAM requirements for Windows 11 and have the capability of installing new RAM Ability to conduct basic hardware cleanup processes including antivirus, cache clearing, password resets, etc Experienced backing up information to the cloud Willing to be onsite 5 days per week Salesforce and Natterbox experience preferred
