Job Overview:
At Onsite Medical imaging and Lab Services we have a passion for delivering our clients and patience with the best quality of care a mobile company can provide. Here at Onsite we are seeking a professional Phlebotomist with exceptional patient care, skilled knowledge and experience in phlebotomy and specimen collections, and a team player with ambition and motivation.
Duties:
· Properly Identify patients and print labels for specimen tubes.
· Perform venipunctures while using the correct technique with minimal discomfort to their patients.
· Demonstrates proper technique to provide standard of care. This includes selecting the appropriate equipment prior to collection, i.e. tubes, supplies, verifying orders, proper patient preparation (site selection, order of draw), proper technique, following standard precautions and proper disposal of supplies according to facility policy.
· Provide superior customer service to all patients.
· Travel to additional facilities when needed.
· If morning start: 2 bulk facilities is the expectation or 1 bulk facility and STAT draws
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required.
· Valid driver's license.
· Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
