The Mobile Supervisor provides on-site supervision of Securitas Officers at a corporate campus in Hopkinton, MA . This role combines leadership, patrol, and response responsibilities to ensure high-quality security services. The Supervisor also serves as a key liaison between campus security operations, facilities teams, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership
Directly oversee Security Officers on shift, ensuring professional performance and coverage.
Provide coaching, guidance, and support; cover officer breaks as needed.
Act as a point of escalation for on-shift issues, ensuring proper resolution.
Patrol & Response
Conduct regular security tours of the campus buildings.
Patrol in a company vehicle to monitor multiple sites, respond to alarms, and address incidents.
Cover vacant routes or assignments when necessary.
Incident & Facility Coordination
Act as liaison between security operations, facilities teams, and other departments.
Respond to medical incidents, access control issues, or other site concerns.
Document and report incidents, events, and facility issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Technology & Monitoring
Monitor campus CCTV and security systems.
Maintain possession of the shift cell phone for emergencies, callouts, and coordination.
Provide detailed end-of-shift pass-on reporting.
Client Service & Compliance
Build strong relationships with client representatives.
Ensure all security operations align with policies, site procedures, and client expectations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; additional training or coursework preferred.
At least 2 years of security experience, with prior supervisory or mobile patrol experience strongly preferred .
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to learn and use security technology (CCTV, access control systems, reporting tools).
Professionalism, integrity, and resiliency under pressure.
Physical & Working Conditions
Regular use of a vehicle for patrol duties.
Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, and patrol for extended periods.
Must be able to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies.
May be exposed to inclement weather while on exterior patrols.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
