Job details Title: Network Engineer IV Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 6 Months (With Possibility of Extension/Conversion) Pay range: $64 - $69/Hr Responsibilities As an Optical Network Development Engineer you will: Build, Operate and rollout our global DWDM networks. Drive scaling current DWDM designs to meet the demand of our customers. Ensure that the DWDM network adheres to the defined network standards. Review and implement changes on the DWDM network. Meet operational excellence projects to drive improvements in our DWDM network quality and reliability. Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions day to day on our network. Mission Supporting optical capacity, preparing for deployment optical capacity for new regions. Support technicians remotely to troubleshoot and bring that capacity to live. Deployment of optical networking equipment and ready to carry live customers traffic. There are new regions, more than 100+ around the world Day-to-day tasks Supporting deployment of new optical network capacity from start to end. 10% meetings 60% working independently on configuration. 30% troubleshooting with local technicians. Real time engagement.
