Our client, a community-focused organization dedicated to supporting senior citizens, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team. As a Receptionist, you will be part of the Senior Center support staff, providing essential front-facing customer service and assisting with daily operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate friendliness, approachability, and a strong desire to help others, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Negaunee, MI

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM with 30 min unpaid lunch

What's the Job?

• Greet visitors and assist senior citizens with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Answer phones, manage emails, and update social media and documents
• Coordinate daily activities, including preparing food, setting up events, and serving lunch
• Maintain accurate records of donations, birthdays, mailing lists, and client information
• Assist social workers and staff with various administrative tasks and support activities

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency with email, Internet, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Friendly, approachable personality with a strong desire to serve others
