Job Title: Safety Coordinator
Location: Gainesville, VA
Start Date: November 1, 2025
Project Duration: 2 years
Compensation: $40–$45/hr
Employment Type: Full-time, boots-on-ground

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator with 3–5 years of experience to join our team for a 2-year commercial construction project in Gainesville. This is a boots-on-ground role, working closely with our two on-site Safety Managers to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Schedule:

• Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (possible overtime)
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 or 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of safety programs on-site.
• Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Support the Safety Managers in enforcing safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among the workforce.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of safety experience in commercial construction.
• Hands-on (“boots-on-ground”) experience preferred.
• Knowledge of steel erection and precast construction methods.
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures is desired but not required.
• STSC certification is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work on-site with minimal remote support.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.

Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour
