As a Floor Sales and Design Consultant you will be responsible for executing sales strategy, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, identifying and qualifying customer needs, presenting and selling appropriate solutions to meet their needs. You will also be responsible for opening and closing, and maintaining the store.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in buying process
• Answer phones and schedule in-home measures & consultations
• Prepare design diagrams where needed
• Prepare accurate material work orders for Project Managers
• Perform order entry for Cash & Carry and Material Only
• Enter and track customer interactions in RFMS Software Program
• Take collections on Orders
• Submit finance applications and convey credit decisions to customer upon receipt of acceptance or if declined.
• Track customer sales through daily recording
• Check out samples to customers. Ensure that all samples are returned and put away correctly and in a timely manner
• Keep showroom clean and orderly.
• Keep pricing updated.

Requirements:

• Ability to maintain a quality and service-oriented attitude to ensure good customer service
• As this is a Retail Store - this position requires working Saturdays.
• Be a self-starter - take initiative and responsibility
• Ability to meet deadlines and understand priorities
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task and meet multiple demands
• Ability to demonstrate poise, initiative, tact and diplomacy
• A high level of urgency, professionalism and integrity.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Good attendance - dependability and promptness
