You must be experienced in massage and provide excellent customer service. You must be well-trained and highly experienced with various massage techniques. You must be able to follow protocols and all safety procedures.Responsibilities:Assess guests' needs and exceed their expectationsConsistently provide highest level of service and professionalismMaintain a pleasant, hygienic, and safe environment for the guestsPolitely converse with guests to and from treatment rooms establishing a professional rapportConsult with guest to identify their needs and recommend appropriate massage serviceEnsure all intake paperwork is completed correctly and accuratelyComply with Health and Safety standards to ensure the highest level of servicePromote teamwork within the therapist team, especially during Couple's servicesUpon completion for services, promote other areas within the resort such as dining suggestions, activities, special events, promotions, ply with uniform, hygiene, and grooming standards set forth by Spa Management TeamQualifications:Certified Massage Therapist with current California CertificationStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysCommitment to maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and hygieneWilling to learn, grow, and adapt to protocols presented by the SpaHospitality experience highly desiredExperience with guest with high expectations/luxury environments highly desiredTakes pride in the art of hands-on healing and works well in group settingsBenefits:Competitive compensation and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and trainingSupportive and collaborative work environmentJoin our team at Spa Relais and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional wellness and relaxation services to our valued guests.RequirementsDesired Skills & Experiences:CA Certified - Bring a valid CA CertificationHigh school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalentMinimum 2 years of experience as a Massage TherapistMinimum 3 years of experience working in the Spa industryExcellent knowledge and comprehension of treatment protocolsProficient computer skills for payroll time clock and daily schedulesCandidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and writtenExcellent people skillsWell-groomed, professional appearanceRequires attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAble to walk short distances and stand for extended periods of timeComfortable with performing massages on diverse clientsPhysical Demands:Stand for long periods of timeRepetitive movementsUse of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or table controlsNote: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Salary Description $16.50 per hour + commission pay + tips Westlake Village Inn
