Qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous experience working in school environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with onsite Speech-Language Pathologists
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment methodologies
• Proficient in tracking student progress and maintaining documentation

Location: Atascadero, CA

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in the assessment and treatment of students with speech and language disorders.
• Implement treatment plans and educational strategies as directed.
• Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the supervising SLP.
• Support students during therapy sessions, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with educators and other staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
