Job Description

Located in Paso Robles, CA, this role offers an opportunity to support K-12 students within a school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). Serving as a vital member of the educational team, you will provide both direct and indirect speech and language services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, ensuring comprehensive support tailored to each students Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language interventions to students onsite in multiple school settings as needed.
• Collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, adhering to established protocols and therapeutic goals.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents, especially in high-stress or crisis situations.
• Travel between school buildings throughout the day as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation following student progress and service delivery.
• Provide services in accordance with students IEPs, ensuring compliance and quality care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field; alternatively, an AAS degree from an SLPA program.
• Active SLPA certification/license.
• Strong oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to manage stressful interactions professionally.
• Flexibility and reliability to travel onsite within the school district throughout the day.
• Commitment to working onsitethis position is not eligible for remote or virtual work.
