Swing Stage Erector (Suspended Scaffolding)

Job Overview:

As a swing stage builder, you will be responsible for safely erecting and dismantling suspended scaffolding equipment. You'll find yourself performing most of your work on the roof-tops of buildings in main cities around your branch location. When not on job sites, you'll perform work in the swing stage department's warehouse. These tasks include cleaning, repairing, and testing our equipment under the company and manufacturer's recommendations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Erect and disassemble swing stage equipment on commercial, residential, and industrial construction sites.
  • Mobilize equipment from one area to the next to better assist with the installation of suspended scaffold equipment.
  • Perform inspections under the supervision of a foreman and the manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Clean and repair swing stage equipment while working in the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks while on job sites or at the warehouse.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Physically able to lift and safely handle 75 lbs.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in the English language.
  • Applicant must have the ability to work at heights greater than 100 feet above ground level.
  • A current driver's license with a clean driving record is not required but is greatly preferred.
  • This includes having no DUI or careless & reckless charges in the last 5-years.

All candidates must submit to drug testing, a criminal background check, and E-Verification of their eligibility to work in the US.

Working Conditions:

  • The employee will spend long periods of time on rooftops while exposed to natural elements.
  • The employee will spend periods of time in the air 100 feet or higher.
  • The employee will have to handle equipment for long periods of time safely.
