What Does a Chick-fil-A Team Member Do? A Chick-fil-A team member performs guest service and food preparation duties. Front of House guest service job duties include greeting customers, taking customer orders, and completing transactions on the cash register. Back of House food preparation duties consist of cooking food and assembling sandwiches. Additional Tasks and Duties Additional team member duties include operating the drive-thru window, unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean store environment. Chick-fil-A team members must also adhere to all safety policies and health regulations. Ideal Chick-fil-A team members possess positivity and diligence. Job Description: Chick-fil-A at Shepherdstown Crossing is seeking both full-time and part-time Team Members for either Front of House (FOH) or Back of House (BOH)/Kitchen positions. Our Team Members must be caring, friendly, and have a genuine heart to serve others. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. As a Team Member, you may be placed in our Front of House, focusing on guest experience, order accuracy and efficiency, and the cleanliness of our restaurant. Or you may be placed in a Back of House/Kitchen position which would entail working in the kitchen, prepping and cooking food to ensure quality and accuracy of orders. Attention to detail and warm hospitality make a difference in all areas of our restaurant. In your role, you are encouraged to bring your positive contagious energy to work every day as you learn, grow and perform your job to your highest ability.
