\nRegistered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care - PICU - Travel - (PICU RN)\n
\nStartDate: ASAP \nAvailable Shifts: 12 D/E/N \nPay Rate: $2496.60 - $2751.35 \n

\nResource Pool (RP) Level 3 RNs are part of a team of caregivers who provide staffing support to a variety of units. RN Level 3 RNs are able to take assignments in general care units as well as at least two critical care units. Assigned units will be within the Level 3 RN’s skill level and could include:\n\nGeneral/Specialty Units:\n\nMedical/Surgical Unit\nHematology/Oncology Unit\nProgressive Care Unit\nTechnology Dependent Intensive Care Unit\nInpatient Rehabilitation Unit\nNeuroscience Unit\nEmergency Department (Minor Care)\nPost-Anesthesia Care Unit Level II\nCritical Care Units:\n\nPediatric Intensive Care Unit\nNeonatal Intensive Care Unit\nEmergency Department (Main Treatment Area)\nAll RP Level 3 Staff RNs are supported by the general care unit and critical care unit’s leadership and report to the Operations Center Manager.\n\n\n

Required Qualifications
BLS - PALS NRP
PICU and CVPICU experience to include hands on with generalized respiratory, neuro surge patients and a vigorous cardiac care background.
Certs and License cannot expire during the 1st 13 weeks
FLU required. No exemptions
Travel exp
5 years of exp preferred
Strong skill set needed in all care areas due to our acuity and diverse population of patient diagnosis. High proficiency in post-neurosurgery patients, asthmatics, or trauma, SI, Status Epilepticus, Cleft Lip/ Palate, Craniofacial and specific medication administration (versed, narcotic analgesia)

BSN is preferred.
