About This Opportunity

As the CFO, you'll be a key strategic partner to the CEO, leading all financial operations while driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute organizational strategies and policies
  • Design and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and fuel growth
  • Provide critical insights and recommendations for M&A opportunities, expansion initiatives, and other strategic decisions
  • Collaborate across departments to optimize performance and control costs

Financial Excellence

  • Oversee comprehensive finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, SEC reporting, and cash management
  • Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to improve profitability
  • Monitor key performance indicators including inventory turnover, gross margins, and operational costs
  • Drive cost optimization while maintaining competitive advantage

Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor high-performing finance teams across multiple departments
  • Foster an inclusive, innovative work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement
  • Identify and address skills gaps to enhance organizational capacity

Risk & Compliance

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards
  • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Maintain transparent financial practices across all locations

Stakeholder Relations

  • Prepare and communicate financial statements and performance updates
  • Present to Board of Directors, investors, and key stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and vendors
  • Ensure timely reporting of critical financial data

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
  • MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • Prior public company CFO experience
  • Multi-unit retail experience required
  • Proven track record in change management and organizational improvement
