Overview of the Position: The Deputy Chief U.S. Probation Officer (Type II) performs professional and managerial work related to supervision and oversight of the full range of operational duties which encompass the investigation and supervision of offenders. The Deputy Chief is responsible for managing first-line supervisors, as well as overseeing a full range of district-level operational and administrative duties.
