About the Position:
We are working with a Midwest-based law firm that has an active need for an investment management lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate or senior counsel, depending on experience level. This sophisticated law firm has over 500 attorneys in over a dozen offices nationwide.

Responsibilities:
Counsel private equity firms and venture capital investors on broker-dealer regulatory compliance and fund formation
Advise institutional investors on market terms, equity, debt and hybrid co-investments, and developments in the marketplace
Handle other general corporate transactions
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with a variety of investment management matters for associate level; 8+ years of investment management experience for senior counsel level
Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is $190,000 $265,000.
