DNV's Environmental and Permitting Services (EPS) team is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an Environmental and Permitting Due Diligence Project Manager to interact daily with our wind, solar, and due diligence teams. In this role, our team provides technical consulting and independent engineering services for wind, solar, offshore wind, and energy storage project developers, financial institutions, and investors who rely upon our reports as part of their investment decision making process. The Due Diligence Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating due diligence activities regarding environmental, wildlife, siting, and social license risk reviews; serving as a technical expert and report approver; communicating and resolving technical issues with clients and lenders/investors; and mentoring junior team members.

However, our EPS team strives to develop long-term partnerships with our Customers, acting as their trusted advisor from the early site selection stage through to operations. Our Customers are at the forefront of the energy transition. Our team is nimble, highly experienced, and driven by our mission to ensure renewable energy projects are safely and sustainably sited, permitted, and operated.
Our Team
The EPS team is comprised of siting, environmental, and permitting specialists who work directly with our Customers to help identify and address project risks for terrestrial wind, offshore wind, solar, battery storage, and hydrogen projects. Our mission is to guide the sustainable, responsible growth of the renewables industry by providing innovative environmental and permitting expertise to support the greater good.
To facilitate this work, excellent written and oral communication skills are paramount. Broadly, our work falls into four categories:

Please visit our website at required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and New York City Salary Transparency Law, DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado or New York City. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado and New York City, NY only, the range of starting pay for this role is $82,000 - $130,000.
