We are looking for an amazing Receptionist and Salon Assistant (we call it a Salon Specialist) to join our team. This position will require working full weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday). This is a fully paid hourly position and you're eligible for tips and commissions. Sharkeys Cuts for Kids is an upscale children's salon. Some of the responsibilities including but not limited to: - Greet all guests and provide friendly, prompt, and exceptional service
- Manages the salon software, customer appointments and salon traffic flow
- Operate the Point-of-Sale software system
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced atmosphere
- Sell hair care products and keep retail shelves stocked
- Ensure the store is clean and tidy
- Report to Salon Manager and/or Salon Owner
Requirements: - Sales experience and able to educate clients on retail products
- Customer service (2 years) preferred.
- Minimum one year experience.
- Must work weekends (our busiest and most fun time!).
- Legal to work in US
