Senior Director, Digital Strategy

The Senior Director, Digital Strategy is responsible for developing and executing integrated digital strategies for the agency’s clients. This includes providing strategic consultation to clients, developing thoughtful and measurable digital campaigns, short and long-term planning, overseeing the implementation of digital strategy and best practices, and growing and mentoring a team of digital professionals.

This role requires a curious thinker who is capable of working autonomously and in group settings to deliver quality thinking when it comes to digital marketing. The ideal candidate is someone who continuously challenges themself, and those around them, to make the work better. They will need to be able to have a split focus - delivering results today, while planning ahead for future shifts for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to ensuring end to end activation (from strategy conception to implementation and reporting) is carried out to the highest quality using established best practices and processes
  • Oversee the implementation of digital strategy (across entire ecosystems, or individual channels) and best practices across various platforms including content marketing, CRM and integrated digital experiences, search and social across the agency’s mid-sized and large accounts
  • Develop and implement custom and highly measurable digital strategies and campaigns for several high-profile clients that deliver specific results in engagement, conversation, sales & and advocacy
  • Strong understanding of measurement models and how to leverage data and insights for strategic and program-level adjustments
  • Provide ongoing strategic leadership recommendations during quarterly business reviews
  • Grow and mentor a team of Digital professionals from entry level to mid/senior level
  • Act as an escalation point for client-facing and internal issues and can deflate situations and provide solutions that the team can carry out where necessary
  • Drives organic growth with existing clients
  • Leads digital components of new business

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital campaigns
  • Strong understanding in >1 discipline (CRM, Social Media, Media Buying, Analytics, Website UX, Digital Ads, etc)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation for this role is $130,000-140,000 depending on experience.
