Vidal Construction is seeking highly motivated Property Restoration Estimator to assist General Contractor with commercial and residential property improvements.

Job Description:

• Xactimate estimating insurance claims involving damage to buildings and structures
  • Estimating to include mitigation and buildback
• Inspect property damage to determine extent of damages
• Evaluate damages to ascertain compensation amount
• Prepare and present claims to insurance companies
• Work in the field visiting damaged properties
• Selling our services to clients that are in need of repairs
• Work in both office environment and out on the field (construction sites / homes)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• 2-3 years of professional Estimating experience
• Familiarity with construction field preferred but not required
• Proficiency with Xactware software - (Xactimate 28 certification desired)
• Willingness to travel between San Antonio and Austin (up to a few times/week)
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and insurance companies
• Some lifting may be required at times; some physical demands will be necessary at times
